Matthew 9:34-38

*Jesus teaching, preaching and healing, Jesus having compassion, and Jesus called for laborers for the harvest.

Matthew 9:35
“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”

*Jesus Christ has sought, prepared, and sent us workers out into our world to bring a spiritual harvest of eternal souls into the kingdom of God.
Teaching is offering detailed explanations of a particular scripture passage or passages.
The gospel or Good News, is a key to understand salvation and how to gain eternal life.

John 3:3
“Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’”

Matthew 9:36
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” 

*We should be moved with compassion for those in our circle who are lost, without Christ in their lives.

Matthew 9:37
“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” 

Matthew 9:38
“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

*A compassion for perishing souls will lead us to praying for labors who will go out to harvest them.
Jesus wants you to be actively involved in the field to bring in God's harvest.
