The Journey To Hell aka "The Great Illusion"
Satan is the Great Deceiver. Will you be fooled by his illusions? Journey through the progression of evil, watch how his control spreads and get an inside look at his plan of attack. Journey to Death and Beyond.
The Journey to Heaven aka "The Great Escape"
The Journey to Heaven is a constant pursuit, where you are targeted and hunted by the enemy, Will you escape? Can you dodge the fiery darts, and resist evil? Will you reach the fortified tower of safety in time? If you do, will you be let in? Choose your Destiny at Journey Trails.
Don't miss this year's exciting, new adventures! Timed ticketing ensures everyone gets in. Choose your day and time, then purchase your tickets online. This is strongly recommended as time slots are limited. Walk ups welcome, but pre-purchased, timed tickets are taken first.
BACK THIS YEAR, as an added attraction, the beloved Casket Simulator Ride! Are you brave enough to step into your "Last Ride" and have the casket lid shut on you? While in there, hear voices, feel the movements, smell the roses from your loved ones, the exhaust from the hearse, the dirt, as it is shoveled on top of you, and of course the horrible stench of your rotting corpse. Who will be the brave in your group to try it out?!? Pre-purchase of The Last Ride tickets are available online for your convenience.

Yes, there are two walking trails this year.
These are natural, wooded, walking trails in the deep, dark woods of New Kent. Please wear appropriate footwear!
Yes, they are! This year your one price admission ticket includes two trails; "The Great Escape" and "The Great Illusion "
It is perfect for both large and small groups. Many types of groups come through Journey Trails (Youth Groups, Sports Groups, Co-workers...) for team building fun, or as a reward for a job well done. However we will ask you to divide into smaller groups of 6 or less to go through the trails as this will enhance your experience.
More than just a haunt, this is a GREAT way for families to have fun together, and learn together, especially those with teens and even young adults.
These trails are not built for children under the age of 10. However, if you have a brave youngster who wants to try, and they know the difference between real and pretend, it is appropriate and safe. However, we prefer this to be a fun experience for all, and do not wish to terrify anyone. So use your best judgement and perhaps find a sitter for the very young (and faint of heart).
If you don't touch them, they won't touch you!

Journey Trails has been entertaining the community since 2004. We started on Mt. Castle Rd in Providence Forge, and moved to our present location in 2007. We took 2 years off for a reset in 2014-2015 but have entertained over 7,000 people since we began.
Many people think this before they experience it, but are very surprised with what they find. Just because we are a church doesn't mean we don't know how to have fun! In fact, we hold 2 awards for Special FX make up from the National Haunters Convention competing with well known haunts on the National stage. We also did a national speaking tour (Oregon, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania) that was well received presenting our original style of "Truth-based" haunting to other, secular haunt owners across the country. You really just have to see it to believe it!
We use Timed Ticketing to help control the crowds. If you think you may have to change your tickets for any reason, you may want to use the purchase protection plan to keep your options open.
In order to guarantee your spot, on line ticket purchase is strongly recommended. There are no guarantees if, or when, you will get in if you purchase your ticket at the door, but yes, we do take walk ups for a small upcharge.
Absolutely! We understand the responsibility involved in being a group leader. We would be happy to host any group leader, for free, who wants to know exactly what to expect prior to bringing others through, on the night of our dress rehearsal. Contact us and let us know in advance, that you are coming.

Journey Trails is more than just a haunt. It is a mind, body and soul experience. The two trails, "Journey to Heaven" and "Journey to Hell" remind you we will all someday die. By default, everyone is headed to Hell, but if Hell is not your desired destination, there is something you must do, and do it soon! That something, is to simply choose Christ, put your faith and trust for the salvation of your soul in the sacrifice He has already made for your sin. He did the work; He came, He died, and three days later, He came back to life. You just have to accept His free gift of salvation. Then live differently because of it. Jesus Christ has chosen you, and it's His desire that you will choose Him. The choice is yours.
