Matthew 9:27-34

Matthew 9:27
As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’”

*No matter what our circumstances, it’s compassion that we all seek from God.
None are so blind as those who refuse to see the truth.

John 3:3
“Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’”

2 Peter 1:5-9
“…make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance;  and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.”

*Jesus will try your faith to teach us to pray, and not to faint, even though the answer doesn’t come at once.

Matthew 9:28
And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’”

*If you believe Jesus is the answer to your every need, don't let anything or anyone stop you from following Him or from reaching out to Him.

Matthew 9:29
“Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith let it be to you.’”

*God expects us to humbly respond to Him on His terms
It’s those who by faith, continue to ask, seek and knock that will receive God's response to heal their life.
Jesus responds, not because of your desire for a miracle in your life, but because of your faith in Him to deliver.

Matthew 9:30
And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

Matthew 9:31
But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.”

Matthew 9:32
“As they went out, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon possessed.”

Matthew 9:33
“And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, ‘It was never seen like this in Israel!’”

Matthew 9:34
“But the Pharisees said, ‘He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.’”

*It doesn’t matter the proofs of Jesus that you offer to people, you can’t convince the proud in heart.
Don't major on minors and miss what Jesus is doing right before your eyes.
