Judging our Efforts in Sharing the Gospel
Matthew 7:4 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 7:5 Jesus said, “You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
“When we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:32 NIV
“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.” 1 Peter 4:12 NIV
“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6 NIV
Explained:
“Do not give the unsaved (dogs) what is holy / set apart (sacred); do not throw your spiritual truths about salvation (pearls) to the unsaved (pigs). If you do, they may trample the gospel (them) under their feet, and verbally abuse you (turn and tear you to pieces).
